We feel privileged to be part of the trail running community and we are happy to bring positive & healthy opportunities to people. Naturally we want to share the goodness it brings... so we give back! Included in your race fees is a donation for the Kootenay Columbia Trail Society which will go towards a membership fee. Without the support of the KCTS we would not be able to host the Broken Goat trail race and we thank you for supporting this non-profit society and the PACE value system. We will be donating $2.00 from every race entry back to the KCTS to show our support.
Running feels good. Giving back feels good. Doing both feels great!

Kootenay Columbia Trail Society
The Kootenay Columbia Trails Society is a registered, non-profit society, based in Rossland B.C., funded by and serving the communities of the Greater Trail region.
This incredible network of passionate and hard working individuals exist to manage, maintain and develop a regional network of recreational trails for a variety of self-propelled trail users.
Most of the trails are located on private property, and public access is only made possible by the generous cooperation of the landowners, who enter into insured agreements with the Society.
The KCTS relies on public funding, access to this private land, and professional management and maintenance to help support their efforts.
We are proud to give back to such a society that puts in endless maintenance hours every year and is so passionate about sharing their incredible mecca of trail networks.
Thanks for sharing your backyard with us.
