update:
We are making a slight change to the course for 2020 and removing the last aid station that was approx. 2.5km from the finish line. Our race crew will be out in the spring to assess the best options to replace the 2km out and back section we're removing, which may end up resulting with (+/-) 2k to 5k per distance. The 13k distance should note that the only aid station in this distance is now 1.5km from the start. Thanks for your cooperation.
10km. 510m ascent.
Runners will start off at Myra Adventure Park and head straight up a rough 1km trail to Myra Canyon B&B and towards June Springs parking lot. Runners can access the aid station in the parking lot before continuing on Myra Bailout trail and climb up to the turn off for Angle Springs. This is a super technical and fun descent... one of the nicest single track trails in the area!
Once you reach the bottom of Angel Springs you'll travel along beautiful trails that criss-cross Mission Creek 4 times and you will travel across a few fun bridges. This time of year the creek is pretty dried up so keeping your feet dry shouldn't be a problem. The trails in this section are stunning and the fall colours will surely motivate you!
Your final ascent is up some old school single track trails and steep climbs to finish line! Please note: for returnees, we have removed the last aid station, therefore the only aid station being 1.5km into the race and making the course a total distance of 10k in 2020. On the map above - please disregard the out and back to the old aid station and plan accordingly.

21km. 712m ascent.
Runners exit Myra Canyon Park and run down June Springs road for approx. 900m until they reach the turn off on a short logging road that will take them into beautiful Myra Bellevue Provincial Park! A favorite on this side of the park, runners will flow along Pipers and over to Lost Lake before taking grassy trail and then turning left on outhouse trail which is fun and flowy single track.
Runners will hit a short piece of FSR (Hromek) down to Bailout trail, which requires a sharp right hand turn! Bailout trail will be filled with beautiful fall colours and rolling terrain all the way to June Springs parking lot. After accessing your first aid station, you'll push on up to the top of Angel Springs trail where you will be in for a treat. A rocky, rooty, technical and super fun descent before the final set of steep climbs that lead you up to the finish line. A memorable and rewarding course! Please note: for 2020, we have removed the last aid station and added on distance elsewhere on course. We will update the online maps in the spring!

42km. 1322m ascent.
This is a challenging 42km course & runners should arrive physically prepared.
Runners will exit the park and run down June Springs road for approx. 900m until they reach the turn off on a short logging road that will take them into beautiful Myra Bellevue Provincial Park. They will gradually climb up to Pipers and over to Lost Lake. From here runners will hit grassy trail and continue to climb on a variety of sweet single track all the way up to the KVR. (grassy trail, outhouse trail, Swamp Thing, Captain Nemo)
After a short flat section on the historic KVR, runners are in for a treat as they descend all the way down Crawford trail to look-out trail, hillbilly trail, and over to flamingo flats before back turning left on race classic and taking earring trail until they hit lower bench / Crawford parking lot and you're 2nd aid station.
From here you will push through the rolling and loamy fairlane trails as you climb all the way to June Springs parking lot and your 3rd aid station. You will still have a bit of climbing to do before you can enjoy one of Kelowna's most unique and technical trails... Angel Springs. It's filled with roots and rocks and crosses over Mission Creek several times. This course wraps up with a series of punchy climbs that will pop you into the finish line!
