Please take note that the following route changes will add 3.3km in-between aid station #1 and aid station #2 in the 42k distance and have been marked for tomorrows race;
1. right (instead of left from previous years) on Hillbilly to Pink Hwy.
2. Pink Hwy to Race Classic trail.
3. Race Classic trail to Earring trail.
4. Earring trail to upper bench.
5. Upper bench to easy out.
6. Easy out trail to lower crawford bench trail.
7. Crawford bench trail to middle bench trail.
8. Middle bench trail to lower bench trail.
9. Lower bench trail to aid #2.
As previously mentioned - last year's route fell short at approx. 38km and we have made the above mentioned adjustments and the additional 1km out and back to aid #4. Thank you for your cooperation.
We have added a 500m out and back (for a total of +1km) to the last aid station. This is due to the inability to get aid to the previous position. This will add 1km onto each distance making the total distances now 13k, 21k, *42k.
Aid station #4 is also a check-point, therefore it's mandatory for every runner to run to the aid and back, regardless if they actually want supplies from this aid station, or not.
*Our 42k course clocked closer to 38k last year, so we are making some slight course alterations to ensure our course is indeed 42k this year. We will be posting the course updates to the 42k course tomorrow after we finish marking. Please stay tuned!
12km runners - please note that you do NOT have to physically run in and out of aid #1 to get checked off. We will have a volunteer set up along the dirt road checking bib numbers off. Please note, however, that you may be asked to slow down and present your bib if there is a group of runners together or if your bib is not visible.
Bib Placement: Please be sure to wear your bibs on the front of your clothing so our volunteers can identify your number with ease.
Finish - we have slightly adjusted the finish to enhance the course. It won’t effect the overall distance much, however you should expect another punchy climb before popping up on the final flat stretch into the finish arch.
There is currently construction taking place on Dehart Road. They are closing Dehart Road between Swamp & Crawford Roads, so please take note and map out your route to the start ahead of time. We have provided a suggested route from Orchard Park Shopping Center, showing the best route here: Google Map
Don't forget to bring a lawn chair or blanket for the finish line this year. There will be a large tent set up in the finish area for folks to grab a burger and hang out in.

day of race package pick up
Please note that ID must be presented to claim your bib and you cannot have someone other than yourself pickup your race package.
Bib pick up & racer check in opens at 8:00am and will be open until 11:00am. All racers MUST pick up their bib well before the race briefing for each distance. If you come flying into the bib pick-up hot and the race briefing has already started, you will not receive your bib. Please respect this policy as it is for the safety of our racers and consideration of our volunteers.
PACE Trail Race Series has cupless events, so please remember to pack along your own source for fluids at aid stations and the finish line. This can be a soft flask, water bottle or any creative versions you can think of.
