Wandering Moose Racer Email

10/1/2019

(emailed Sept. 26, 2019)
Hello Wandering Moose Runners!

Thank you for choosing the Moose as part of your 2019 race line up! We are beyond excited for our 7th annual event and can’t wait to celebrate with you all!

We have some beautiful handmade ceramic finishers medals ready to hand out (with a hug, of course) and a really cool soft-style high quality locally designed t-shirt for all runners. My Mom and I have also made homemade strawberry jam for top finishers and some extras to giveaway – so be sure to stick around for your chance to win!

The weather in Kelowna has been a mix of sun and rain and we are holding hope for ideal fall conditions, however we will continue to monitor the long-term forecast and keep you posted. Regardless, the mornings can be cool and parts of our course are quite remote, so we advise that you bring “all the things” to the race start and decide at the trail-head what to wear based on the forecast on race day. We would hate for anyone to have to drop out, due to not being prepared with the proper gear.

The following information needs to be read in full as there is very important and recent information that will contribute to helping make Wandering Moose a success!

DROP DOWN / REFUNDS
Per the policy outlined on our website, we cannot process refunds, we do not allow transfers, and we do not do deferrals after 30 days prior to the event. If you receive this email, you’re still registered to run and we’re expecting to see you on Saturday morning, at Myra Canyon Adventure Park. Please email me if you need to cancel your registration or drop down in distance. Please note: you cannot bump up in distance.
